The theme of this video is the longing of a modern subject for being somewhere else, closer to nature and other people, in an environment that would offer more freedom. This is symbolized by vast natural landscapes of different kind contrasted with the cold, unwelcome and almost clinical or ‘dead”, technological interiors. Although nature is never the “real” one, it’s always a certain construction, simulated and artificial, it still offers consolation. Two birds refer to the need for togetherness and loyalty, far away from the loneliness of atomized individuals that cannot connect to one another in any way.
