The trilogy "Noh", which began in 2017, presents a stage for an undefined character who is to perform a ritual dance. Through his movements, this character depicts the hardships that lie behind him, the obstacles that lie ahead, and expresses his intention to overcome all resistance.
The world depicted in the first two films remains unplaced in terms of writing, vocals, or other location markers. The setting of the events, as well as their time frame, remain undefined. The main character, consisting of a bone, metallic extremities, and a metamorphosed head, can only tighten the network of meanings somewhat through his dance – he cannot save anyone from failing to find a clear meaning.
While the films remain linearly narrative, they do not offer a one-dimensional interpretation, but combine or link various narratives, fairy tales, myths, or past events with present ones.
In the virtual residency, the trilogy is now coming to a close. Unlike the first two parts, the third part is no longer presented as a film, but as an interactive presentation, where one can observe on different stages how the journey, which began in the first two films, comes to a conclusion. The starting point in concept is a work from 2013 based on the Unity3d engine, which shows a museum that gradually gets deconstructed and eventually becomes a place of a narration on its own rather than a classic exhibition. While the characters in the films follow a clear path, in the Unreal-based third part, they are equipped with their own behavioral logic and left to their own actions in the virtual space.
