Circle, round shape feels more organic rather than having sharp edges. It symbolizes peace, warmth, calm, joy. A cloud in a room where it brings the serenity in a busy and digitized environment. The purpose of this artwork is to show there’s sll calmness and peacefulness attention to the positvity in front of them: this artwork. Brings them to an ethereal, floatng moment.
It is made with 29 round polystyrene foam. The size of polystyrene foam is height 2.54 cm and length 25.4 cm. There will be 4 layers of polystyrene foam stacking on each layer to show depth. With projection mapping techniques applied, it will create more depths and illusions. The visuals genre we chose for this project are lines and shapes. All of the visuals are made by all of the teammates in after effects. The visuals will be control in Resolume on laptop and project it on the sculpture. Cumulus nimbus (the sculpture) will be position on a the wall around 120cm apart from ground.
