This series of images/objects explores the relationship between object and
image through transposing, separating and redefining intrinsic properties of the object. Essential
parts have been removed and replaced with draped images of what was there or what could have
been there. By adding a new new physical layer, the object attains a new narrative and challenges
its own meaning or how its perceived. In some cases commenting on inherent transient qualities
whilst hiding or revealing itself.
Using mostly artificial versions of natural entities and discussing nature as decoration or
commodity an underlying theme within the work is the complicated relationship between nature
