Contour lines is a series of drawings of imaginary territories made with ink on paper. Each drawing is assembled in order to give this territory three dimensions. The lines represent the limits of a space in a reduced scale in order to apprehend the extent of the territory that is not possible to apprehend on a real scale. The gesture of cutting, folding and assembling the drawing with my hands gives the impression of dominating these territories at the same time that this the process causes the lines to escape from their original design creating new territories.
