The sculpture is dedicated to Brazil and South America, an amazing continent with a unique diversity of flora and fauna. A continent that contains the lungs of the planet – the Amazon forests, deserts, semi-deserts, mountains, glaciers, and volcanoes. The silhouette of the sculpture resembles a tropical shell with several layers, which was allegedly brought from distant travels in memory, and which stands on a granite stone. The author interprets black as undiscovered, unknown. The sculpture symbolizes the discovery, the development of civilization, and the spiral development of time and space.
