"Turn down the volume, so i can see you", is a 3D animation, a playground, built in a digital environment, for exactly what seems, as natural as it is artificial, a contrasting coexistence of perception and senses. The sensory experiments about the expansion of the human senses, as well as the artistic movement that supports them, inspired me to create a small particle that reflects not only the sensory experience, but also the change we go through as consciousness and body. Making an analogy between the patterns of synesthesia and the cyborg state, I tried to take the animation to a point where the two meet and create a space where a sensitive experience results, introducing new sensory suppositions. The project follows premises encountered in the post-internet era, transhumanism, cyborg art, exploring the memory game between the virtual world and the one we call it real.
