Description and relation with Open Call:
It is a story about physically tangible and elusive boundaries. By observing complexity of landscape structures, I found in them a pretext to reflect on the multiplicity of meanings of the BORDER,
the border of cognition, experience, but also to pay attention to what is borderline of what
local between or eluding human perception. The horizon determines the sphere of observation,
which depends on the relationship to space, scale, time and place.
I understand it as the limit of experience.
I compare all boundaries to make structures that build a sense of order. Borders can be an end and an obstacle, a limit that usually cannot or should not be exceeded
In my work, the meaning associated with the horizon (shaped in a visual form) takes over
line – real, physically tangible, marking multi-directional lines of thought.
Same line provokes the relation of particular attempts at its definition.
The shapes accompanying it – multiplied spots, random brush gestures, too
horizontal, unexplored pages in the “multi-track” version of horizons of borders.
