Since ancient times, man has always tried to create and picture an ultramundane dimension to shelter in, where reality can take a meaning and a causality. This dimension is associated with a "super partes" entity from which it is dominated, an entity with a human connotation but, at the same time, non-human in its ideality. A divinity that we identify today with artificial intelligence. It exists to solve those problems that we often create ourselves, and in it we want to be welcomed and comforted. It's an entity that comes in our aid but which, at the same time, can prove to be insidious, become dangerous in unexpected ways, injure us in the vulnerabilities we show. A divinity born with a positive connotation of refuge and protection but who can become a demon that imprisons us. In this artwork we can clearly read this presence. The golden hand represents the divinity that we imagined and created, in its abstract perfection. Algid and protective, it rests on the man's head, who is kneeling waiting for redemption. Space is empty, dimensionless, abstract, timeless. But redemption has its price: the price of suffering, of the perfect golden wounds that adorn the human back.
