A old pic did by Vanja Vukovic. The location is the old entrance from the ECB which was a market hall. From October 1941, the National Socialists used the basement of the market hall as a collection point and the market hall train station for the deportation of Jewish men, women and children from Frankfurt and the surrounding area.
Note of the artist on this artwork minted as NFT on OpenSea: “Art is elitist. The not only economically sensitive situation restricts the art production of the artists. The purpose industry demands more and more decoration than art. My selection of the NFT s and just this ECB photograph has been striking and plan B of the production of my series “Ich ist ein Raum”. Nevertheless, I still find the image interesting. My idea behind the prize is a kind of lottery game, which seems more realistic to me with NFTs than any other game online. Maybe plan B will turn into plan A. And this photograph in particular seems to me predestined for that.”
