My work suggests an imaginary kingdom ruled by curious hybrids of animal, human and plant. In this whimsical yet somewhat disturbing world, human heads have been replaced by animal heads, birdhouses, baskets or cages – the implication being that humans, in attempting to confine and control nature, have both literally and metaphorically, lost their minds.
