Architecture could not stay out of my thoughts, of my drawings, it took shape in my mind during a walk in the surroundings of my mother’s hometown, Trevi, in Umbria, partly also my silent father’s hometown. It was during August, 2019. I called them “Giardini segreti”, Secret gardens. In the countryside farmhouses are carved stone blocks among olive trees. Giardini sagreti are quiet and safe places, probably people shaped as architectures. May be there is in my DNA something of a remote amanuensis monk, and not only for the handwriting, but for the world that I represent.
