I work as a glass art designer with specialisation in lighting installations. Those are huge contemporary fixtures for residential or hotel projects, for their halls, receptions and boardrooms. They are set from hudreds of glass pieces – called components – into define shape (wave, dragon, flower – depends on a client). All these glass sculptures are pre-producted in virtual 3D space – piece by piece.
Sometimes I don't feel fullfiled with my work for commercial sphere, so I put back laws of physics, feasibility and economic requirements and create graphics from components. It is free artistic process – no need to look back for possible glass production, because 3D model space in my computer can take it. So this picture is product of pure imagination but still based on my glass work.
