It’s tech time! Paradise Edition
Our third It’s tech time! becomes the Paradise Edition. We are broadcasting live from the NRW-Forum Düsseldorf and the Museum Ulm, where “Welcome to Paradise” and “Kunstreichgewächse – Bitte gießen!” will be the first exhibitions co-curated via previous.nextmuseum.io.
The curators Stefanie Dathe (Director Museum Ulm) and Alain Bieber (Artistic Director NRW-Forum) talk with the participating artists about the process of creation and the result. The digital partner of previous.nextmuseum.io, the MIREVI Lab of the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences, will also be present: In Ulm, tech testers will get to try out the augmented reality app developed with students for the first time. ARt chat enables museum visitors to participate digitally in the object signage of artworks by commenting in the room. And in the NRW-Forum, the development team will present the immersive “Paradise Stream”.
We look forward to a welcoming address by Hortensia Völckers, Artistic Director of the German Federal Cultural Foundation, which supports previous.nextmuseum.io in the Digital Fund of the Kultur Digital program. Moderator Prasanna Oommen will again lead through the program and Nine Deadlines will accompany our art tech late night show with music: TECH YES, TECH NO… It’s tech time!
For the first time, we will welcome a limited number of audience members on site at Museum Ulm in addition to digital participants! Write us at previous.nextmuseum.io@gmail.com if you want to be there. First come, first serve!
